Spotnana

Redefining Corporate Travel

Spotnana is a Silicon Valley startup focused on modernizing corporate travel, with over $100M in funding. As Lead Product Designer (2022–2024), I led a team to create a scalable design system, onboard major clients like Marriott and Qantas, and redesign key interfaces. By building a centralized design language, I helped resolve inefficiencies and modernize the platform.

Scalability Challenges

Legacy systems were complex and inefficient. My focus was building a scalable design system to streamline workflows, improve consistency, and enable innovation. Streamlined onboarding for large clients, unlocking smoother adoption for complex accounts.

Booking Challenges

Corporate travel booking tools face challenges like complex customization, integration with other systems, user adoption, and ensuring policy compliance. They must also manage real-time availability, cost control, mobile compatibility, global travel needs, traveler safety, and data privacy, all while balancing flexibility and efficiency.

Design Research

I facilitated workshops and user testing to align user needs with business priorities, foster a user-centric culture, and improve usability. I also onboarded the team with user monitoring tools like 'Fullstory' and trained the entire product team to adopt a user-centered mindset.
